So I've decided to start a Music Monday on my blog. Therefore, Monday's are the day that I will post some of my followers music and give some feedback on how I feel about the song. I will do at least 3 each Monday. I figured this would be good for my blog and good for upcoming artists. Bare with me on the reviews, I am not an artist so my reviews may be a little bit naiive, but it's just my opinion.
1. "At The Top" by Dareezun [@Dareezun_N4G]
Listen Rating : 4/5
When the song first came on the first thing I said is that I liked the beat, it is a smooth mellow beat that you can and relax to while listening. Another thing I noticed was his voice, he has a great rapping voice. You know how some people who rap sound annoying because of their voice? His voice sounds nice over top of this beat. One last thing that I liked was the hook and the lyrics of the song. His lyrics MADE SENSE, we don't get that a lot with rapping. I applaud him for that.
There was one bad thing about the song, and that's when he did the weird thing with his voice at the end of his punch lines. It was cool for the first two times but when he did it more, it got annoying.
2."Black and Yellow Freestyle" by Coolant-Japan [@CoolAnt23]
Listen Rating : 2.5/5
Now he sent me a link to his mixtape, I decided to pick this Black and Yellow (Freestyle) because I am from Pittsburgh and I wanted to hear him over Pittsburgh's own, Wiz Khalifa's beat. Now this song... is sort of vulgar. I know that's how rapping is today but this .... is really vulgar. I can't even count how many times he said "bitch" in the song. I....like how he rhymes I just can't get with the meaning of the song. I don't know, maybe if he didn't say bitch as much , and degrade women throughout the song I would like it more. But overral, it was okay.
